The Silver Angel Program
The Salvation Army Silver Angel Program brings warmth, comfort, and holiday cheer to Gilmer County’s seniors. Each season, generous community members ‘adopt’ a Silver Angel—providing gifts that remind our elderly neighbors they are valued and not forgotten. In partnership with Gilmer Family Connection, we bring together local compassion and resources to ensure no senior feels alone during the holidays.
About the Program
The Silver Angel program is designed to provide Christmas gifts and cheer to seniors (60+) in Gilmer County who may be lonely or financially struggling during the holidays. Much like our Angel Tree for children, the Silver Angel program ensures our elderly neighbors are remembered and celebrated.
